Smoky gwindel quartz Mont Blanc DB72

 Gwindel is a rare and fascinating form of quartz, popular with mineral collectors. Originally from the Alps, and more particularly from the Mont-Blanc massif, it is distinguished by its unique twisted structure. This torsion phenomenon occurs under specific pressures and temperatures when forming the crystal.

This one is slightly smoked (copy Alain Hebrard) and large (main crystal: 9.5x4.5x5.5 cm) -
