Pair of polychrome ceramic majolica figurines representing a couple of characters of orientalist or ethnic inspiration (water carriers / Nubian style) leaning against openwork bamboo-shaped trunks. These richly decorated objects generally served as soliflores or small vases/planters. The numbering allows them to be attributed to the Bernhardt Bloch workshops (Eichwald, Bohemia). Note some chips on the 2 bases and roses (see photos)
