Fine silver-plated silverware piece designed to hold sweets or small fruits
The silver-plated base showcases superb Rocaille or Neoclassical details, typical of high-end 19th-century productions. The sculpted mythological dolphins feature chiseled scales and open mouths, characteristic of ancient marine iconography. The circular base is richly adorned with wave patterns, intricate volutes, and acanthus foliage.
The bowl is made of crystal with blue reflections, featuring an alternation of raised "diamond points" and finely carved "star" patterns on the sides.
3 points are broken and a few are chipped.
