Ce diptyque associe les deux grands sacrements de l'initiation chrétienne souvent célébrés à la suite a cette époque : la Communion (premier médaillon) et la Confirmation (second médaillon). C'était un cadeau commémoratif solennel offert à un jeune catholique au début du XXe siècle.
L'ensemble se compose d'un socle en bois sculpté orné de deux grands médaillons en relief
Matériaux : Socle en bois, médaillons en métal argenté avec de superbes rehauts de dorure (or) d'origine sur les auréoles et la crosse
Epoque : Art Déco (circa 1910-1930).
