Elle commémore des faits d'armes de la guerre de Sept Ans, illustrant ici le portrait de Ferdinand, duc de Brunswick, et une scène de la bataille de Minden (1er août 1759) et de l’autre Frédéric Il le Grand, roi de Prusse et principal allié du duc de Brunswick pendant la guerre de Sept Ans.
