The lampshades carcasses have a lot of different forms, to help us describe them here are some notions:
- Branches: right, pagoda, dome, tulip, bell, ball
- Basic and top geometric shapes: round, oval, triangle, square, rectangle, hexagon (= the 6 sides), octagon (= the 8 sides)
- Proportion between up and down: cylindrical, conical (Empire, Chinese, American, drum)
- Decoration/Variations: with collar, headband, cut sides, hollow corners, round corners (rounded), festoons, Godrons, umbrella, ...
